JSC “Tyumentelecom” suggested new radiotelephone communication service based on CDMA technology
From Oct.1, 2000 JSC “Tyumentelecom” has started the suggestion of a new radiotelephone communication service based on CDMA technology (multistation access with code canals’ division) Since the beginning of the ninetieth this technology, developed by the military department of USA, has been distributed actively in America and Asia. CDMA is using a code noisy-like signal with a broadened specter, it is provided with a high protection from interference and confidentiality of talks as well as allowing to work with a considerable smaller capacity of the transmitting signal, guarantees a high quality of communication and more prolonged working period of accumulators. Today, JSC “Tyumentelecom” suggest to its subscribers to install a stationary radiotelephone of CDMA standard.

Bei UptoTrade fand ich heute einen, aus meiner Sicht sehr wichtigen Beitrag, dessen Konsequenzen es bei entsprechendem Eintreten einzuschätzen gilt... - dies ist natürlich die Gretchenfrage, hellsehen kann keiner, und Vermutungen können in die eine bzw. andere Richtung gehen...

TyumenTelekom’s Board of Directors met on July 17th and decided to hold a special stockholder’s assembly on September 25th. The shareholders will discuss reorganization of the company and a merger with UralSvyazInform. According to our information, there are 196,264 shares of UralSvyazInform for every share of TyumenTelekom.

yeap, bin mit etwa 13% mit den Tyumentelekom St dabei... - Vorzüge wären besser gewesen, aber man kann nicht alles haben!
Mittlerer Einstiegskurs ist 0,56€... - und jetzt lass` laufen!
Frage ist jetzt natürlich, ob es nicht Sinn macht, aus den Ural rauszugehen - für mich steht fest, das für Tyumen ein wenig viel gezahlt wird...
Ach ja, Schade, das ich heute morgen keine Chance auf eine Order hatte...

kannst Dich trösten, Vorzüge waren in den letzten Wochen nicht zu kriegen, erst in den letzten 2 Tagen waren in Berlin welche zu 1.70€ im Orderbuch.
Was Uralsvyaz angeht, wäre ich als Aktionär schon etwas verunsichert, wegen des stolzen Preises für Tyumentelco. Der Deal muss ja meines Wissens von der ausserordentlichen Generalversammlung im September noch abgesegnet werden, sodass sich für mich bei 1.40/1.50€ Teilverkäufe fast aufdrängen..

Das war übrigens der Grund, warum ich letztes Jahr alle meine normalen Tyumentelecom verkauft habe (Kauf 18.5.01- € 0.68 / Verkauf Juli 01- € 1.36) und stattdessen Tyumen Vorzüge ins Depot genommen habe. (Kauf Aug.01 €1.50) Durch den Aktientausch und dem daraus resultierenden Gewinn ergibt sich nach meiner Milchmädchenrechnung für die Vorzüge ein Einstand von €0.50.
Da im Zuge des Mergers neue russische URSI Vorzüge geschaffen wurden, ist es eigentlich nichts als logisch, dass auch entsprechende ADR’s kotiert werden.
Nichts wäre mir jedoch lieber, als wenn (wieder erwarten) meine Tyumen Vorzüge in Ursi Stamm ADR’s getauscht würden weil erfahrungsgemäss in den meisten Fällen der Kurs der Stämme höher ist als der, der Vorzüge.

Reports positive 1Q03 RAS results
Uralsvyazinform's 1Q03 consolidated RAS results released yesterday came in on the positive side, as the company demonstrated 32% income growth y-o-y (to $11.7mn) on a 24% increase in revenue- the highest growth rate in the fixed-line sector. It's worth recalling that under RAS, Uralsvyazinform does not consolidate its growing mobile and Internet subsidiaries, except for the mobile operation in the Perm region.
The strong revenue growth was explained by an impressive increase in DLD and ILD traffic (23% and 14% y-o-y respectively) and local tariff increases in 2H02.
Operating expenses, however, marginally outpaced sales, resulting in a slight slip in profitability. The EBITDA margin was off by 1.4 percentage points, to 36.8%, as opex growth was fuelled by payments for third party services and utilities, up about 65% y-o-y. Company officials, however, said they are maintaining their EBITDA margin target of 39% for 2003, saying the 1Q03 numbers reflect the impact of seasonally slower revenue growth, combined with higher outlays for installations that will only start generating cash later in the year.
Net income was up 32% y-o-y to $11.7mn. We reiterate our Buy recommendation on the stock.

Ich konnte bisher noch keinerlei Aussagen finden.

inform you of the following regarding your questions.
Firstly, Uralsvyazinform's preferred ADR will start trading within the
1st half of 2003.
As to the roadshows, management is planning to visit Stockholm and
London through 13 and 14 of March this year, then New York (March 30)
and, again, London (April 1-4).
Unfortunately, I may not tell you what amount will be allocated for
dividend in 2002. The respective decision is supposed to be taken by
General Meeting of Shareholders in June this year, after preliminary
consideration by the Board of Directors. (hat sich erledigt)

Wenn ich mir die Geschichte im Depot ansehe, die zur Zeit noch ausgenullt ist, kann ich kaum noch den Handelsbeginn erwarten. :D
Das war wirklich ein Superdeal - bin gespannt, ob die Notierung noch im ersten Halbjahr über die Bühne geht.

Die Stämme haben ja gestern bei guten Umsätzen schön zugelegt, ich nehme an das die Bewegungen in den letzten 14 Tagen auch eine Reaktion auf das FITCH-Rating vom 14. 05.2003 auf B+/Positive ist. Mit den Vorzügen bin ich auch mal gespannt, aber irgendwann werden auch sie gehandelt.

Uralsvyazinform Annual General Meeting Results
On June 20, 2003 Uralsvyazinform held an Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. Approximately 76 % of the total number of issued common voting shares participated in the vote.
Shareholders took the following decisions in compliance with the Meeting’s agenda: approval of the annual report, annual accounting, including profit and loss statement, profit distribution as of FY 2002.
The shareholders took a decision of 2002 dividend payment. The amount of 2002 dividend is RUR0.00394 per 1 common share, RUR0.0091 per 1 preferred share. Uralsvyazinform Preliminary 9M2003 Performance Statement (RAS) :D :D :D
Uralsvyazinform revenues as of 9M2003 are estimated to be USD440,5 mln (+ 29,5 % as compared to 9M2002), where revenues from telecommunication services reached USD 395,1 mln. (+ 26,9 %).
Operating expenses are expected at USD320,5 mln. (+ 28,5 % versus 9M2002).
Thus, provisionally as of 9M2003 EBITDA is expected to be USD164,7 mln. (+ 31,7 %), operating profit – USD119,9 mln. (+ 32,3 %), pre-tax profit – USD53,5 mln. (+ 57,5 %), net profit – USD37,6 mln. (+ 74,7 %).
The total volume of Capex as of 9M2003 equaled USD100,5 mln.
The number of employees as of 9M2003 decreased to 35,2 thous. people (-1,5 % as compared to 9M2002).
The total subscribers’ number of fixed-line network as of October 1, 2003 amounted to 3,1 mln., 2,8 mln. of which represent urban network and 0,3 mln pertain to rural network. On the whole the average wire-line telephone penetration within the company is 20,0 %.
The installed capacity of mobile networks as October 1, 2003 totaled 1,1 mln. numbers, showing an increase by 414,5 thous. numbers since the beginning of 2003 (+67,9 %).
