DAX may just be a step away from the cliff

23. Juli 2013 – 9:55

Looking into a lot of sector news and into the current earning season you may get a clue that trees don´t grow to heaven. Comparing the performance of international companies for example those who belong to the well known S&P500 with companies belonging to the leading german index DAX you will realize that big german firms (blue chips) have a lack of performance during the last weeks. This week a real load of numbers (way over 150 companies reporting) will lead to consequences. During the last week financials gave more upside potential....

DAX: head over heels in love with the bulls?

28. November 2012 – 17:48
Eingestellt in:

The last days european equity markets were set to open lower, but suddenly they came back - so did the german leading index named "DAX". We hear and read a lot of stuff about the worries dealing with the fiscal cliff in the United States. Wall Street ended up with red numbers yesterday (futures right now ticking around 12.850 for the Dow Jones and around 1.394 for the S&P500 at 14:09 CET) because of worries about the missing action on US budget talks. We see investors taking volumens out of the major US-markets....

EUR/USD: ...and what about Spain?

12. Oktober 2012 – 14:08
Eingestellt in:

Spain obviously sees no need to ask the Eurogroup for help after conditions in the markets improved. So is there any possibility that Spain may ask for a full bailout within a few days or in a few weeks. Looks like Jeopardy to me and gives every serious trader a bad feeling for future markets, giving the fact there is a possible countries bailout hovering around. Right now the EU does not believe that Spain will ask for further financial assistance in the short term according to senior officials and spanish institutions and agencies....

DAX: Still unbelieveable strong - too strong

19. September 2012 – 16:18
Eingestellt in:

The last weeks traders had a lot to do with trying to price in some events. German constitutional court gave way for the ESM (European Stability Mechanism), we saw dutch elections and two major events of the biggest and most important central banks - ECB and the Fed. From hawks to doves - nearly the whole world enjoyed the movie "endless spending"....

Euro-Bund-Future: Summergames!

17. August 2012 – 16:21
Eingestellt in:

Euro-Bund-Future-Traders these days have no easy job to go through. The last weeks were loaded with news and chaos from Greece, Spain and Italy besides all the talks from european staff about the rescue of the european currency. European politicians, european leaders, economists and european authorities have a lot to say and they do what they can do very best - they simply use any microphone they can get to spread more tries and errors or wrong and right ideas to confuse the markets and feed traders with never ending opportunities....

Märkte in Sorge vor Zerfall der Eurozone

24. Juli 2012 – 9:59
Eingestellt in:
